Solomon to Vanuatu

Hello, hello everyone!

I have searched the forum a bit, hoping to find a thread related to my question but no luck...

My husband and I will shortly start a big sailing / live aboard trip on our 38ft catamaran currently in Brisbane. We will be leaving in May. We'd want to do the Great Barrier reef, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Cal and potentially Fiji. But ideally, in that order! Which is where it becomes tricky...

Do you guys think it's possible at all to sail from Solomon to Vanuatu (rather than the opposite way around)? From what I could find, the winds are SE from April to November

Anyone who's done this trip?

Thanks!
