Membership List suggestion

The site now has a gazillion members. Finding one person can take some effort. Let say the members handle was "Silly Sailing Sam". You would have to flip through various pages to find them. I was wondering if a search feature where one could type just "Silly" and a shorter menu would appear. Just thought I'd make a suggestion

Can not you do this already in the advanced search? You can search for posts by a name and if you typed "silly" you would get to a post that you then click on their user name to get to their user page.
