West Systems 404? What happened?

I have tried to order West Systems 404 High Density filler at least 4 times in the last two weeks but no one has it in stock and everyone has refunded my money.

Does anyone know what's going on? Did West Systems pull this product or stop making it?

My guess would be that it's probably shipped from China.

You could source its individual components instead. What's the application?

I am filling various screw holes in my deck and cabin top before rebedding hardware.

Re: West Systems 404? What happened?

I have tried to order 404 from a dozen websites. All of them cancelled 5e order and refunded my money. Finally, one site checked with West Systems and found out that they are no longer going to make it.

Id contact West directly:
https://www.westsystem.com/contact/

404's principal ingredients are calsium metasilicate, and silicon dioxide.

https://www.westsystem.com/filler-selection-guide/

This should help you pick another. Or just buy some flock to mix in. We use that for structural fills on composite aircraft. Cheaper too...!
