Live aboards/sailors near San Diego

Hey everyone,

My wife and I will be out in San Diego this year for Spring Break (3-13 to 3-17)
We were hoping to meetup with a live aboard couple/cruisers. We thought it might be nice to meet up with some people actually doing what we're wanting to do.

Our schedule is flexible while we're out there but unfortunately we're only going to be there during the work week

Re: Live aboards/sailors near San Diego

Lived aboard for 10 years at Harbor Island Marina great owners and became friends with many liveaboard there. We were first aboard a Transpacific 49 sailboat then a 54 foot DeFever named Sea Rogue in slip #10 on L dock.
If they do not have space for you, a couple of other liveaboard options are the marina at the far south end of San Diego Bay or across the Bay to the western side you might find something. It would mean having to cross the bridge to the peninsula that runs down to Mexico if you don’t mind the drive for shopping.

The devil is in the details, this post was made in 2017, and I guess they either met up with some San Diegans, or didn't! haven't got back to us, either.
