For Sale: Catalina 27 Tall Rig W/Diesel

I had my boat delivered from Wisconsin the last few weeks,, which is it's first introduction to salt water. It was built in 1982 and has lived up north until I bought it. It is just a little low in the cabin for this 6'2" "ole Dude", so she is for sale. Asking $8,995 or best offer.

Catalina 27's have sailed around the world, but not this one as she was hauled each winter. Over 6,600 of these were built making it the world's largest production 27 foot sail boat. I have this boat at my dock in Bayou Chico, FL with the mast down. I can have the mast stepped or if you want to do it, I'll reduce my asking prices $500. Since she only saw about 6 months wet in fresh water, she has no antifouling paint.

Estimated engine hours on the Universal 5411 two cylinder diesel is less than 1,500. It runs perfectly, but is raw water cooled. I can install another pump and heat exchanger, plus plumbing for about $1,000.

Come to Pensacola, look her over and make me an offer I cannot refuse.
