Catalac 8 or 9m, Comanche 32 in Florida

I am looking for a small cruising cat for weekending in the Florida Keys and an occasional run to the Bahamas. Specifically, a Catalac 8m or 9m, or a Comanche 32 would be my preferences.
I am open to others, but just not in love with a Gemini. Prouts/Endeavour 30/Americats would be considered as well.
I do not mind an outboard, so that would not be a deal breaker.

I live in south Florida, so would prefer a Florida boat if possible. Budget is $40k or less.

Thank you in advance for any help/leads.

Endeavour cats gets our vote. More spacious and enjoyable and modern than an others mentioned. Sail well and we'll built without tons of wood core to deal with. And you can them or their InterCat or Americat, equivalents in your price range.

Thank you for the lead on the endeavour 30. I was close to buying one a few months ago, but it did not survey well. Not too many in my budget either, but will go look at this one.

Still in the hunt, any owners thinking of selling?

Owned an Endeavourcat 30 for about two months. Beautifully built boat but the wave slap under the bridge deck was so bad that we sold it before we got it home. Bought it in the Baltimore area and had it sold by the time we got to Charleston on the way back to TX.

Just to clarify, we looked at several small cats, but the Endeavour was the only one we took out. The other small cats maybe just as bad. We loved the fit and finish, the layout and everything else about the boat, but at anchor, facing into the wind and waves, it sometimes seemed the boat was about to disintegrate.

The central nacelle does thump more frequently then a cat with a higher bridge deck. It does break the wave energy up so when it thumps it's not as violent as a large smack on a flat bridgedeck. Geminis are much more noises.
