Beneteau 381 mast replacement

I have a 1999 Beneteau 381 and I am in need of a replacement mast. It’s the in mast furler version. This is probably a long shot but what are the chances of finding a used mast for that boat? Possibly a wrecked hull with a decent mast?

Was recently reading that insurers are no longer allowing used materials to be taken from hurricane-damaged (totaled) boats - they’re making everything go to the wrecking yard and get sold for scrap. (liability issues??? Don’t know.) If this is true, finding a used mast will be very difficult. Masts usually last a long time and people with Beneteau 381’s usually want to keep the one they have. Is yours repairable? Have you checked with spar manufacturers who might somehow have something that will work on hand?

Those masts are pretty cheap as new masts go. You've gotten a quote and it's more than you'd like to spend? Be much easier also to be able to deliver the mast to a US port across the lake from wherever you are.

Thanks, the mast I have is not repairable. I was hoping someone would know of any wrecked hulls that may still have a useable mast. I have since decided to source a new one.
