2018 Beneteau Oceanis 35.1 possible purchase

Hello All!
I have the opportunity to purchase a brand new 2018 Beneteau Oceanis 35.1 at a very attractive price. Any opinions on this vessel would be greatly appreciated.

34 gallon water tank.....hope there is an option for additional tankage. Other than this they look very nice.

I own one of those!

We are very pleased with our boat.

Most happy with:
Handling -- both under power and under sail

Cockpit layout
Main cabin usability

Not as happy with:
Size of V-berth
Tank capacities

As O. Jim mentioned, the standard water tank is only 34 gallons. My wife and I have somewhat adapted to it, but we would like more. When the boat is built there is an option for an additional 50 gallon tank under the V-berth for about $800. To add the tank to the boat after it is built is $2,400 (yes, I asked about it). Also, the holding tank is only 20 gallons.

Hi, I also have the exact same boat.

We are on a 2 years trip on it and really like it.

You can fit anywhere, sail in not so nice condition, and the cockpit is pretty much the biggest one you can have in 35 footer.

We have a rainman watermaker so no real problem with the water tank and can still do 4-5 days with showers and dishes before using de WM

Aircool: Can you post pics of your WM installation? Sounds interesting.

I have rainman watermaker, so no installation needed,

Since we are living abord for at least 2 years, I made a day bed with the port couch. I know have more place to put stuff ( watermaker is there). I cant use the port side of the table anymore but it make the interior way more confortable.

I also put a dometic 50l portable freezer under the chart table.

Do you mind sharing where you have been cruising for the last 2 years?

Sail displacement to capsize ratio, I don’t get it?
Seems under sailed for the higher capsize ratio?
