C-MAP Updates?

We have C Map NT+ for Lake Huron, Georgian Bay and North Channel. We previously had a subscription with them whereby we would get a new updated card every year of our selected area and we would return the year old card. A few years ago an updated card did not come (around 2018). I've tried searching everywhere to find out if we could get an update to no avail. A company called Navico purchased C-Maps on 2018. Even with C-Maps being noted on their website there is no support link and no telephone number. Navico's HQ is in Norway.

Can any one shed a bit of light on this and let me know how they've worked around this issue. We have a Raymarine Pathfinder RL70RC Plus which is working quite well. I hate to have to upgrade everything due to the lack of map upgrades.

sorry but I find your answers too cryptic for me.

We are using a Raymarine Pathfinder RL70RC Plus from 2004

When I went to the C-MAP website they had no updates for these maps and you cannot even buy a card reader to update the propriety cards.

It sounds like to me that you may be referring to an app or a new version.

A bit more information would be helpful.

Yes - thanks for finding that. Unfortunately they don't seem to answer their calls or call back. I waited over an hour twice and then the system disconnects. I have to call on the international line as the 1-800 does not work from Canada.

Last time I got a C-Map card it was through Marine Outfitters in Kingston, and they still show a couple on their website so may be able to help. Bloody expensive, though.

Looked at C-Maps ‘device compatibility‘ list for your Raymarine chart plotter..Your Pathfinder model was not listed..

Ncohn226 They stop the program of the "club" membership. The chart chips are still available. The still offer a discount if you have a chip to exchange. Try this web address https://www.c-map.com/search-charts. I believe the US distributor in in Massachusetts USA was shut down for a while. It took me awhile to get in contact with them earlier this year.
