Active Captain/Navionics Symbol Identification

I've been looking at the Great Bahama Bank on Active Captain, and these little red and black boxes are everywhere. Can someone tell me what they are? An initial Google search said rocks, but many of these little symbols are in fairly deep water, so that doesn't sound right. Thanks in advance!

Those are just rocks. Check out NOAA Chart #1 as it's the key to interpreting nautical chart info: https://nauticalcharts.noaa.gov/publ...1/ChartNo1.pdf

I personally never saw these rocks, only sand on this bank. Just follow the magenta route and you’ll be safe.
