Navionics Repair

I have an old Navionics Chart Plotter E120 and I would like it repaired for the back-light dimmed to an unworkable state. I have already spoken to a repair service in Dorset "The Service Centre" who were very abrupt "take it or leave it" in that they want it posted to them rather than I deliver. To my mind sending sensitive equipment through the post is not the best way but they were adamant. Does anyone know of a repair facility who are a little more customer friendly?

Re: Navionics Repair

This is a Raymarine E120 isn't it? If so why not speak to Raymarine directly.

Heard similar stories about customer service from that lot.

You could try Hudson Marine in Bursledon, very helpful, just not sure if they do repairs, but they will know someone. https://hudsonmarine.co.uk/

Finally: https://www.oceanelectronics.co.uk/about.html but haven't used them.

Hi Pete7, thanks for your prompt reply, yes it is a Raymarine E120. I will try and talk with Bursledon.
