Cruiser road transport QLD

Need to transport a 38 foot cruiser from Gold Coast to Mackay, does anyone know a good road transport company with experience doing this?
TIA
Tom

I have seen this company deliver a boat from overeast to WA, nice guys, witnessed the unloading, very professional. When I needed to have a boat moved from Queensland to WA, I got a quote from them... not cheap, but then again neither would be sailing around Oz.

Try a house moving company, They have trailers that are hydraulically lowered and raised, and can be widened to suit the load,
No cranes involved,
They just go straight under the boat and lift it,
My Cat is 14 feet wide,

Moved it from Port Stephens to Victoria, 700 miles, Cost 8 grand, all inclusive,
Moved it a couple of times down here as well,

Travel lift can lift it off the truck to put it straight in the water, Or the truck can leave it on stands untill your ready to put it back in the water,

Cheers, Brian,

Check out the above search.

I'd recommend using a specialist boat transport company. A road trip for a boat is far more brutal on the vessel than any sea! I can't recommend anyone in particular, because it has been over 12 years since I last shipped a boat from Brisbane to Mackay. It'll be expensive, no doubt, as you'll most likely need a wide load permit for the trip and maybe even an escort depending on width. Is there no possibiity to deliver the boat by sea? It's not that difficult a passage, and can be done in day hops if the time is available.

Try Tom Anderson, at Andersons Boat Transport. They are based in Sydney but work long distances. If they are up your way, you may get a good rate. I recently used them to carry a 36 ft 12 ton yacht from Brooklyn NSW to Urangan QLD. Not the first time I have used them, and very happy with their service.

Regards,
Richard.

Try Queensland Boat Transport. Based at Mooloolaba, he delivered my Farr 1020 (34 ft yacht) to Sydney for me 3 years ago.
Friendly, easy to deal with, totally professional and cheaper than 3 others I tried.
I would always recommend him.

Re: Cruiser road transport QLD

Its an easy trip by sea, lots of places to stop, refuel etc, Wide Bay
bar is the only tricky bit, if you call Tin Can Bay Coast Guard ahead of time they will escort you through for a small donation.

When we moved from Newcastle to Adelaide we used

https://expressboattransport.com.au

They did a good job at a good price and were super easy to deal with.
