Control Panel on Marine AIRRRRRR - malfuncting

Have a Marine AIRRRRRR on my 2004 cruiser
Passport model
One evening woke up too a hot cabin ,
Ice formed on coils ,
A tech who happened too be on a neighbors boat come over.
He was trying too help me but since I was not on his schedule that day
he only stayed short while
He got gauges on fittings saying Freon OK , We all know low Freon causes ice
Besides line cleaning , he felt water coming thru hull seemed too warm
Felt water is staying in lines too long , could cause ice build up?
Weak water pump not having enough pressure too exit hull ?
Is there another circulating pump between unit & thru hull ?
Other day All of a sudden , A WACKY control panel
When turned on temp on control panel reads 140 , after running
a while temp drops 108
No way is cabin 108 , Cabin is possibly 75
Pulling jack cable that connects too back of control panel ,
Hoping it resets - NOTHING
Reads 140 then after a while drops too 108
Yesterday went too boat , turned on air , went for lunch , hour 1/2 later
returned, control panel read 108 , cabin felt warm , ice on coils
Control panel is not reading cabin temp properly and since its
not accurate effects everything
Unit is 15 years old , possibly done like everything else on this boat
Don't want too throw parts , Only single panel so I cant remove from
another room Control panels available $ 200 bucks
Just wondering have others experienced the same with control panel
