Was the
deck repaired immediately after the stanchion was knocked out? Has the
boat been in covered
storage since the stanchion was "popped through the deck" ? If not, there will have been
water intrusion into the
hull every time it's rained since. At the very least, there would have been
condensation and seeping. Then if you're in an area with
Winter, the expansion and contraction of whatever amount of intruded
water with freezing and thawing.
You'll need a
surveyor to tell you the true state of the
hull before you'll have a clear idea of what she's worth. Otherwise, it would just be the resale value of the relatively new engine and boat
parts.
Hope it's not as bad as all that! I'm just trying to offer you a pragmatic approach.
