Caribbean Catamaran for the entire 20-21 season?

Hi all,

My husband and I are former cruisers and owners of a Lagoon 38. We are hoping to take another cruising sabbatical, in the Caribbean, from December 2020 through May 2021. Rather than purchase another boat for a relatively short/finite period of time, I was wondering if there are any Cat owners in the region who do NOT plan to cruise this coming season, because of the pandemic, immigration issues, health concerns, etc.

Instead of keeping your Cat on the hard or paying marina/storage fees all season long - would you be interested in leasing your boat to us? I'm open to discussing price, schedule, restrictions, etc. And would consider a monohull if the space works well for a family of four.

About us: we are experienced blue water sailors -- in 2012-2013 we cruised the west coast of Mexico, did the Puddle Jump, spent the rest of the season in the South Pacific, and then made passage to Hawaii. (Then returned to land to get married and procreate, ha.) We now have two young kids who will be joining as crew, and are hoping to check out the Caribbean waters as a family on our next adventure.

If you might be interested in leasing your boat to us next season, or if you know any resources for finding someone who might, please let me know!

Be well,
Jessica

PS: I'm aware and have researched the immigration challenges/restrictions in the region right now for private yachts. We would like to try to make this trip happen anyway.
