Cheoy Lee Port Lights

Anyone here pulled out the opening and fixed ports on a Cheoy Lee?
I have a Pedrick 47 I have to reseal the ports on and have no idea how their actually mounted or fixed in place. I tried to remove one and found all the fasteners frozen in place. I'm just trying to figure out how their mounted in the first place before removing them to avoid doing any damage.

Thanks for the heads up. It seems to agree with other articles I've seen. Gonna have to come up with a better solution on the fixed ports, looks like I'll be powering up the Bridgeport.

My CL35 ports were as per the article with adhesive bedding. I pried mine off and cleaned them up before re- bedding. I through bolted them to new SS trim rings I had fabricated. No more leaks. A worthwhile job.

Kind of what I was thinking. I may also end up fabricating new trim rings to secure them, home made window frames of a sort. My main concern is strength, I don't want one caving in should I take a large amount of green water.
I'll have to dust off my old fabricating skills, it's been awhile.
