East coast Marinas

I’m sure this has been covered in another thread. I’m not forum savvy enough to find it.

Buying an Island Packet 40 in Charleston SC and looking for a place to put it on the hard to do some work myself. The ones I’ve looked at in that area either doesn’t have dry areas or they don’t allow owner work. I really like that area and will probably keep it in a slip when not working on it. I’m not stuck on that area. Would rather go north as opposed to south but not ruling anything out at this point. Any helpful info would be appreciated.

Safe Harbor City Boatyard up the Wando river. They have haul out and dry storage. You can do it yourself or bring in contractors, certain fees may apply. Kind of far out but adequate. Also have small dockage area (I am actually there now waiting to take my boat south and west to Texas).

I haven’t had any luck taking to the person the receptionist says I need to talk to. I’ve left a message and she said he’ll call back. Any suggestions?
