Delivery skipper/crew cost

Hi,

I was wondering what would be a reasonable cost for a delivery skipper and crew. I have a defiance 30 in Perth and I've had to move to Brisbane for work. I would sell but the market in WA is totally flat so I was wondering what the cost of getting it sailed around would be?

In the US its around $650 a day for a captain + 1 crew and they dont sail at night unless you pay for more crew.

About 5000Nm? UK rates for skipper +2 crew, food and travel sailing 24/7 mostly would cost around £12000.

……..that is one big delivery...……..either across the top...…..in the cyclone season...…..no thanks...…...or around the bottom across the Great Australian Bight...…….in a tiny yacht...…...in potentially huge seas...…..doable...….but not by this black duck......I do deliveries...…..sometimes at A$ 2 per mile......per crew.....plus everything……...3 needed…….sometimes for no mileage charge depending on boat...……...or a new route/destination...….opportunities to holiday on the way...…..and if I like the owner....or not...….often not......so selling the yacht should be considered...…….and save lots...…..or try road transport...….not a lot of backloading from Perth...…….try......Freight Exchange...……..or try to locate the carrier used by Riviera and Maritimo to take the gas guzzlers over to Perth...…..their dealers would know...…….Good luck...…….

30-footer from Perth to Brisbane should be a piece of cake on a truck. Certainly way cheaper than by sea. What's the beam?

It's nearer 2500nm around the bottom.

Is there train service? Could potentially send via rail. First Rhodes Bounty was shipped from Sausalito to NYC via rail with the workers finishing the interior along the way.
