Dawn Treader V is looking for a new home. She is currently berthed in Petersburg
Alaska. We purchased Dawn Treader V from her original owner in July 2015. With a fully enclosed
cockpit and Espar 10 Hydronic furnace she was well equipped for northern cruising. For us she was a “starter boat”. A
boat we could safely sail in Alaskan waters. Since
purchasing Dawn Treader V two and a half years ago, I’ve been able to retire and we have moved aboard her to begin our cruising life. Since
purchase, we’ve put almost 800 hours on her and cruised nearly 10,000 miles. She has demonstrated herself to be a
seaworthy and comfortable
boat to travel on and
live aboard.
However, as we look forward to sailing into 2018, we’ve made the choice to transition to a slightly larger boat with a
center cockpit. We are asking $132,900, which is a fair
price for a boat of this quality and condition. The
price will not come down with time and is not negotiable. If DTV does not find a new home, she will remain with us as we sail to warmer waters.
