1983 Morgan cc O/I ketch Hydraulic ram

I am looking to order a new hydraulic ram and thought I would have no problem finding the right ram size from Hynautics since I brought back pictures but that didn't work out. My boat is on the hard in Mexico at this time. The plate that should have the model number has worn out. Does anyone have the ram model number i would greatly appreciate it.

seastar/Hynautic no longer make the cylinder with the same travel as original. Original had 10 inches of travel and the closest one has 9 inches of travel. This means that you are losing about 0.5 inches each side of center. Seastar can easily set you up with a close replacement. Typically this would be the "SeaStar HC5369 Inboard BA150-9TM Hydraulic Marine Steering Cylinder". Seastar can confirm this.

The original cylinders are very robust and completely rebuildable at any hydraulics shop.

The model should be stamped on the cylinder end at the pivot end.
