37 foot Jim Brown
Searunner Trimaran Sailboat built in 1996 (making it one of the newest built).
Epoxy over
Plywood with honeycomb constructed material by Boeing used for all cabinetry and horizontal surfaces. Kept mostly out of
water for the past 7 years and has recently been cruised from Port McNeil,
Vancouver Island to
Newport, OR. Equipped for
offshore passage making and
cruise ready.
Rigging was inspected by Backline
Marine in
Sydney, BC and deemed in excellent condition. Draws 2' with
centerboard up and 6' with it down. All
stainless steel hardware is 1" and very robust. New
Dodger and sun awning and privacy walls.
This
Searunner was originally built in BC and named Rattle and Hum (blog link below). We bought her in Everett, WA at Dagmar
Marine where she had sat for the past 7 years making one, 2 week long sail. There was
rot in the wing and starboard
hull that we repaired with west systems
epoxy and marine
plywood, videos of the
repair can be seen on our YouTube channel which is linked at the bottom of the ad. She points extremely well to windward and is ready to
cruise, as we are currently cruising and living on her. Please only contact us if you are seriously interested in
buying, we do not have time to discuss the merits of trimarans at the moment, although they are numerous
