Abacos to Ft Pierce

Hello

Looking for a competent crew member to help with a crossing from Green Turtle Cay to Ft Pierce in early June. -- Dependent on weather, am looking at 7th or 8th.

40 Foot Manta Catamaran, all safety and comm gear needed -- been cruising in the Bahamas since January.

Your own state room and head -- no pay but all food and drink provided.

Prefer someone from Fl. Will consider helping with airfare from a FL airport to Marsh Harbour.

Heading to the Abacos on Wednesday -- no objection to joining earlier if you have the time and want a bit of a holiday before we head back.

Send me a little info on yourself -- age, sailing experience, time available, any specifics I need to know about etc.

I answer all responses.

Prefer a PM for exchange of more detailed info.

Give a shout -- will sign sea service letter and provide a letter of recommendation.

I sent you a PM a couple days ago. Didn't see a response, but see a Profile comment. But I don't see how to respond to that.

Not sure if/where the communication is. PM me if interested.

Tom,

I sent you 2 PM's yesterday and one 2 minutes ago. Wonder if you are getting them. I have installed WhatsApp and can do a call. If you didn't get my messages, please send me another PM with contact info. I did get your message yesterday.

Re: Abacos to Ft Pierce

This is pretty amazing. I just purchased a Manta 42 named Gypsy THREE DAYS AGO! The boat is in St Thomas and I’m in California getting things in order to resume my cruising life, this time solo. While I have lots of cruising experience including 2 trans Atlantic crossings, I have no Manta experience. A fellow pilot (retired TWA), perhaps I’d be a good mate for your upcoming trip? Interested?

To All

Thank you for your interest and replies.

All looked very good.

I do have a crew set so I no longer have a need for additional crews

This site does not let you take down an ad -- which is stupid -- so the best I can do is to let you know that the positions are filled.

I will keep contact info on all that replied for reference for any future trips where a crew may be needed.

Thanks Again
