Boat Partnership with Non-Profit

Dear Sailing Community,

I am one of the directors of Common Tides, a 501(c)(3) non-profit - Our organization works with local underserved youth to provide free marine science and sailing programs in order to meet our mission of inspiring passion through ocean education and stewardship to create positive change.

We are set to return to the U.S. Virgin Islands this summer during the month of July.

This year we canceled our programs due to COVID-19 but we have plans for different trips in 2021.

We have chartered sailing vessels in the past, but we are looking to develop more of a partnership with a boat owner.

Typically we bring 6-8 interns and then have 2 staff. Therefore, the minimum size boat would likely need to hold 9 people.

If anyone is interested, you can reach me at I would be happy to provide more details and speak further.
