Crew Available: Panama: Competent Crew now available

I had to walk away from a crewing opportunity, so I'm available on very short notice, currently staying at Shelter Bay Marina, Panama pondering on whether to fly home or not.



I'm 39 years old, owned my own boat, couple of thousands of miles of experience. Licensed skipper/radio operator. German Passport, current yellow fever shot. Decent mechanic, very good with electronics/computers. Rather crappy cook but willing to learn.



I'm pretty flexible.



Though, recent experience shows I'll walk away if I have have to cope with burnt/charred electronics, cooked battery bank, crapped out turbo (almost runaway diesel) and an incompetent skipper at the same time. We're still on good terms, he's a nice guy. Just lacking ships husbandry and sailing skills.
