Re: Mold - how to prevent it?
I was told over at the Sailnet forums that mold is a myth and doesn't exist on boats.
Needless to say, I think I'm done with that group over there. :)

Hosting?
My wife and I traveled for 5 years in a motorhome and did our share of "campground hosting" where we exchanged work for a camp space.
Are there any such things for marinas? We are fulltime...

Re: Pearson 30 Bimini
Great video, but that is so far beyond my still level. When I get to the Keys, I'll check around and see if I can get one made without paying a premium price.

After all of this, I actually went with a Pearson 30. I did extensive research and most people consider this one of the best sailboats ever made for the money.
I take delivery the first week of...

Pearson 30 Bimini
Who says Google knows all?
I can't seem to find anyone who sells Bimini Tops or Cowls for the Pearson 30. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Re: America's Great Loop
I read that vessels over 100 ton require a captain's license regardless of commercial or not. 200000 lbs is HUGE if it means actual displacement. But I have no clue how how tonnage is measured.

I have been looking at the brand "Grand Banks"; I am very impressed with what appears to be well thought out construction and elegance of design. Is this a popular manufacturer?
