We overnighted in Gatun Lake during the canal transit. Several months and several thousand miles the Micron66 is absolutely fine.

We selected Micron 66 without reading the small print about not using it in fresh water. Even then it was not really a concern until I talked to Interlux tech support:

We are trying to put together a sensible list of engine spares for a Pacific crossing. The engine is a Yanmar 4JH4AE with about 800hrs.

The boat is not huge so we need to find the right balance...

I had not thought of an agent. How much does that end up costing? According to Reg at SKMW the worst case duty is 6% of declared value.
