Re: Change or not to change outboard propeller?

Re: Change or not to change outboard propeller?

Re: I'm under propped. What should I move up to?

Along side hull speed being your biggest limiting factor (motoring) the next problem u have is the props are not deep enough in the water, the reason I know this is because evinrude only do a 15 and...

Re: I'm under propped. What should I move up to?

I most certainly have answered your questions on several occasions. Iíll try again, The boat will sail at 20 knots because that is what it is designed to do, SAIL. It was not designed to motor hence...

Re: I'm under propped. What should I move up to?

Thereís your answer, one engine wide open 8 knots , both engines wide open 9 or 10 knots. Hull speed my friend. Thereís a reason why most cruising yachties (sailing catamarans) only cruise around...

Re: I'm under propped. What should I move up to?

Understanding hull speed is the key here, under power most sailing boats will typically only do 6 to 8 knots efficiently and then they hit the wall

Re: Edward William Marine Services Insurance - Anyone Use?

Insurance is ultimately about risk, for both insurers and the owners. I am more than happy to assume that risk (house, car and boat). If u can afford to replace it or fix it Why insure.
