Shaft tube fixable?
Having read some of the posts about shaft tube repair, I am wondering if mine is repairable or should I replace it? Thoughts on how to best do this? See photo.

I need to rebond my rudder stuffing box to the the rudder post. 3M 5200 comes to mind and the Catalina drawing states that it was originally done with GRP. If I am going to crawl myself back there,...

Re: Catalina Prop Shaft-hole?
Looking into this more, the motor mounts seem to have settled and the shaft is sitting lower at the exit of the hull, so I suspect it has worn a hole in the shaft tube. Its best to check your motor...
