Ecos is correct. LPU will lock in the incecticide whereas acrylics breathe and will probably be OK.

Varnish mid morning and Never after 3pm in cooler temps.
Try and keep Both the timber and Definately the varnish warm overnight.

The inside of the slot where the keel lives will gather growth and not on impossible to get at but you cannot get in there to antifoul. I have experienced this on a yacht I had once.

One of the main issues with CSM is that it uses a silane treatment as a binder and it is therefor very, very difficult to wet out with epoxy. Polyester is OK though.

We removed our inner forestay altogether and installed2 forward lower shrouds on new chainplates attached to a bulkhead forward of the mast. Perfect solution. Who needs a cutter rig anyway.

9.9 and 15 hp are the same engine but with different exhaust tubes. The 9.9 as I recall was to evade the tax issue which became applicable at 10hp.

I am 72 and recently sold my 28 ft yacht due to arthritus in one of my thumb joints which made using a winch very painful. I now have a 26 ft power cruiser and very happy.

Rule of thumb. Never paint after 3pm in NZ during winter as the temp and subsequent dew point happens very quickly when the coating is trying to dry. Start at 11am and be finished no later than 2pm....

If you want more copper then check the antifouling label for the concentration and go with the one that has the most. Also check with other boats in your are and see what is working best.
