Actually to clear a blocked exhaust all you have to do is take the boat out and run with the throttle fully open, as long as the the prop is big enough to provide load to the engine then it will heat...

Yes I pulled out all of the wiring so I could see it and no chance of interference and strapped the sensor to the table using a wire basket and a bungee - so port to starboard completely central...

On the hard the pilot can stay central for about 1 or 2 minutes, but it can react to the slightest movement like walking up the deck to the bow.

I like this, I wouldn’t ever claim unless I had to, I could. Live with a much larger excess than companies offer, or maybe a policy that only would payout if the claim was above a certain value.

I nearly went with the idea of reworking the ST2000+ I had made a start on having the bearing house made in Aluminium - instead of cheap Chinese plastic.
