The Cape George is built with a mold for the Hull only, the decks are built in the traditional (wood) boatbuilding style.

I have a CGC 36, New Ballanger spar, boom and rigging. Used Cape Horn Wind vane, New Victron inverter and batteries, etc
I'd sell to someone doing this race, otherwise I'm going cruising this...

Hello, and thank you all for the education...


After unplugging shore power the problem still was present.



I supplied my electrician with the correct Ample Power Isolation transformer...

There isnít any identification on this isolation transformer and itís possible that it is wired incorrectly causing a reverse polarity issue.

You might consider a Cape George Cutter, CGMW is located in Port Townsend and Todd & Crew is extremely helpful. These boats are super strong and built for the PNW with the tall rig.
