Wasn't sure where to post this but you use the dingy at anchor right? So..

Grumbling prop/saildrive

Solved: there are digital (nmea) versions of this sensor, but mine is analogue and needs an appropriate display/speed transducer pod/itc5 to get a digital signal that my system can use.

I have 5 wires coming from the sensor log wheel (speed) sensor it does temperature too. Red/green/white/brown/bare

The user manual says it's nmea 0183, (I'm not convinced) and I'd like to connect...

No, they looked spotless when I took them out. The previous owner had replaced them 18 months ago, right before he put the outboard in storage.
