Re: Osmosis repair, what to expect

Thanks for all the great responses, gives us something to consider. Yeah the best thing would be to be there where the boat is but this may be impossible for us at the moment.

I agree with...

Osmosis repair, what to expect

Before posting this I stumbled upon "The Yard Guys" post. Something that stuck was:

"Never, ever, ever, ever leave your boat to have work done without being around...."

FP for sale but the...

Re: Replacing engines under bunks?

Thanks for the input.

ub1 - I see you have an L45 listed, so it IS through the rear hatch that the engines are replaced? On a side note, are the engines directly under the bunks? What kind of...

Replacing engines under bunks?

How would one go about in replacing an engine that is located under the bunk in a leopard 45? Is there an access panel to hoist them out or do you take them out piece by piece, thanks.

Re: 40ft Catamaran Owners Please

Rudi was telling me about the past boats sold. I remember him going up to about hull 14. They do have 4 boats in production already with buyers so a waiting list is starting to build up.

From what...

Re: 40ft Catamaran Owners Please

Yes you are absolutely correct. Its a trade off. I think in the end it would be better to have a rear that is closed off, especially for the kids. It's something I could live with.

Re: 40ft Catamaran Owners Please

VERY competitive, if you compare apples to apples, Mav44 to FP 44 (Helia) to Leopard 44.

After months of internet researching, we went to the show expecting one thing and came away with totally...

Re: 40ft Catamaran Owners Please

They are supposed to have a nice one for that show. They are finishing it up and want to show it there.

Very competitive! They also had a Knysna 48 and FP Orana 44 that we sailed on. I'll...

Re: Have three electric heads and looking to replace.

So considering a boat that has kids who may not sit there and flush thoroughly, can I do a random thorough flush once or twice a day to help out the system?
