The configuration setting may have changed.
In setting menu 1, the first value should be "F"; the second value should be "td".
Page 29 and 30 of the user manual Oct 2007.

Yes, CV7 masthead used only 4 wires. So no problem.
In Fact, CV7 wind sensor is NMEA0183. We had "option" box for compatibility with B&G, Autohelm, Raymarine (etc..) equipment
