Not that it’s really applicable to your specific boat and question but a very good rule of thumb for any Diesel engine is 1 gallon per hour per 20 horsepower actually delivered to the water.

Almost certainly fuel related. Don't forget to check the small secondary filter on the engine in a metal housing, it's easy to overlook and mine was the cause of similar fuel problems
