I've just spent the last 2 years cruising the south pacific and although I have a 4' draft, I've seldom been in places where your contemporaries couldn't anchor up behind us....

OpenCPN GE Plugin - what am I doing wrong!?

I've spent a few hours trying to get the GE plugin to work, but have failed.

I had it working once before on another machine, so I'm not completely out of my depth.

The delay is not a problem.
Its not the actual update, or the actual download that is the issue here.
I think it is some other process that happens just before and/or just after.

By the way, if it's not obvious, that is O in the background. In a normal state, you will see the active chart in the background.

I clicked on update for the RNC line, it updated quickly.

Can't get it in New Zealand either, but I ordered it from an online pharmacy in the UK and had no problems with customs opening it.
