Re: Prop Walk
My Catalina 34 had bad prop walk to port as well. Never took a class but learned to use it to my advantage. Once I figured it out, docking became fairly easy.

Re: uscg documentation multiple years
Pretty sure all of the NVDC forms are available in PDF format and can be downloaded and printed. No need to have them mailed to you.
But yes, for multi year renewal, the form needs to be mailed in...

Re: uscg documentation
I’ve always said, sometimes there are issues and using an agent might be a good idea. For me, I’ve always done it myself for around $100.
However, I can’t think of any reason why anyone would ever...

Re: No Longer Need a COVID-19 Test to Enter Canada
Forgot…not only did we have to show our vac card, had to have a picture ID to go with it and had to sign a log in sheet with our name and phone number. Canada takes covid very seriously.

It’s been 6 months now, but wife and I went to Niagara Falls. Everywhere you went you had to show your vaccine card. Couldn’t even go in McDonalds without one.

They even issued...

Yes, you asked if there were any outboards with closed loop cooling and I answered I was not aware of any. I didn’t comment on PWC’s.
And yes, 4 cycle outboards drain just like 2 cycle.

It’s likely you will get several different suggestions. I’ve heard people swear by Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club, NAPA, Batteries Plus as well as their local auto parts stores.

Listen to the above. Only use the real CG Doc office web site.
Did mine a couple of years ago for about $100. Renews are $26.
I got burned once by one of these scammers on a renew. Never again....
