Is there a predictable range for what a typical liability policy might cost.....or is it all over the place based on boat size/age and location?

I wonder how it sails....it really looks like the 38 but you dont have to worry about the lashings and you have more protection getting in/out of the hulls. I wonder if the wharram folks were cool...

what about the federal documentation to be a US vessel and be afforded the "protections". I think the SR34 might be under the weight requirements but Im sure they'd let you register anyway.

For the home builders - was it a difficult process to register a home built boat? Did you have to carve a VIN somewhere on the boat?

I thought about that exact thing when I was looking into molded ply builds. If I screw it up it wont really matter much and I can probably build a small one in my two car garage.

For any Searunner ownwers (specifically the SR34).....i've never seen one in person only pictures. In the pictures I see it looks like the amas are not canted. Is that true?
