My Spanish is VERY limited but I always start with Spanish.
I checked in and out in Mexico many times and never had any...

We were able to check in and out at Isla Mujeres in one day last May... No agent. Everybody was pleasant and we had no problems.
We had to stop for a minor repair en route from Panama to Florida...

Ditto. I also did everything by myself. There were no problems and the entire process went unusually smooth. One on the companies in Central America which works as designed.

Yes, I remember sailing inland in Puerto Vallarta and couple of other areas.
Isn't it true for all charts for the area with error? My C-maps and paper charts were 'error consistent'.

Sorry - didn't see the video (slow connection). Three, large, black and white with distinctive movement through the water - it definitely sounds like orcas. They are beautiful animals.

I don't think they are killer whales. I've seen them as far south as Monterey Bay, but never 5 sets of 30...
They really look more like porpoises
