It under the main bed under the cockpit, probably where your holding tank is .

There are a few fittings towards the aft of the boat...

Mine a bit of a weird one - one side says 3100 and the other says 3300 so not sure if the signs were applied at factory or afterwards ...

I have a 2004 2400 Maxum SCR with a plastic gas tank.

Maxum specs say the tank is 70 gallons (around 260 litres) .

I can't work out if the tank is flat bottom or has a V it it given the...

I do have ECM (555's) so will have a look. I'm suspecting something to do with the bilge pumps wiring.

Yes, gas / petrol MPI engines, 2002 vintage.

I get the theory but how does that work in practice ?

My assumption is that the ignition switch supplies 12 volts to the coil and to turn...

Sorted - you need to tell the port engine that its a port engine (set at factory as a starboard engine).

Had to get a Diacom / Rinda to read and reset the codes in the ECM (30 sec job)

Disconnecting one of the engine harnesses and the reading are fine...
