Re: Mexico Charts for OpenCPN

I have recently installed opencpn on my samsung s8 phone and installed the US west coast noaa charts and o-charts for the west coast of Mexico. I found this confusing but now they work.

To my...

Re: Adler Barbour BD50 - will it work

Coolerking,

After reading the reviews on the Westmarine site I don't know if I want a new Danfoss compressor. I realize satisfied customers don't usually post their positive comments while...

Re: Adler Barbour BD50 - will it work

Thanks Coolerking,

Do the tubes come with the evaporator plate?

What do you think the chance of success is if I accept Wingssail's offer of a used evaporator plate? I am tempted by the offer...

Re: Adler Barbour BD50 - will it work

Wingsail,

Thanks for the offer, as you can see from Coolerking's post things don't look promising but I may buy a new compressor. Right now I have a 120v fridge.

Re: Adler Barbour BD50 - will it work

Thanks Coolerking,

By the cap tube I presume you are referring to the thin copper tube wound around the larger tube. This tube hasn't been cut but it is connected to the larger tube which has...

Re: Adler Barbour BD50 - will it work

Coolerking, thanks for the reply.

I assume there was an evaporator plate since there are two copper tubes in the icebox. In the icebox one tube is attached to a very small tube which is wrapped...

Adler Barbour BD50 - will it work

I found an Adler Barbour BD50 compressor with a Danfoss 12v controller and cooling fan next to an 'icebox' in my boat. There is no evaporator but the piping is still in place. The QC stamp is 2001...

Re: Engine Oil level too high

I didn't read the link but know your problem may be caused by a faulty injector

Re: Where are my fuel inspection plates?

Pete7,
I think you are right about the previous owner replacing the sole and not leaving access to the inspection plates.

NYsail I ordered a camera snake but I'm in Mexico so I don't know when it...

Re: Where are my fuel inspection plates?

NYsail,
I know where the tanks are but they are under the sole and therefore not visible. Anyway thanks for the humerous reply.

Where are my fuel inspection plates?

I have a 1974 Maple Leaf 48 and I would like to inspect the fuel tanks because I suspect the 'diesel bug'. I have seen the inspection plate location on a Maple Leaf 42 but I'm not sure the 48's...
