Being boatless since I sold my 31er I'd be interested. Bad timing but might take a look in month. Not sure if I want another boat with an outboard.

What's wrong with this post? He can travel anywhere in the world with a crew and spend any amount of money on a boat project but can't find a decent boat close to where he is for a lot less hassle?

Another question to ask is what is the max weight of a motor for a 28 foot tri. Probably 100 lbs is about the ultimate max and likely a lot less if the 28 is light.

A 5 HP probably is good...

I guess that's true for a lot of plywood. My "project" boat is okume ply, epoxy and glass over (some parts over and under). Pretty light. I read somewhere that this "composite" has strength and...
