Another clue. So when I open the chart and seeing my own ship and I hold down one of the green buttons it highlights an area of the screen that I want to open up but all I get is the information...

GPS doesn't seem to interface. When I run the debug screen nothing happens this time. Baud rate and port are the same.

Anyhow I'm on my way to Florida and I really don't have time to mess around...

Boom!! Yeah I think it's just talking to one device which is the copencpn. All the sudden when I close the debug window it sure enough put my boat right where it is right now at City Island New...

All I see is the filter window which is blank and below that there's a legend message accepted input message etc etc.

On the charge screen I have a green boat with a little brown square at its bow...

So I'm on the same port bu353s4. On the toolbar I have a red boat icon and on the screen I have a green boat icon but it's a thousand miles south of where I am. I press f2 and nothing happens.

I setup my opencpn and I set up the GPS receiver and everything looks great except it does not put my boat on the charge and someone please help me do that thank you very much
