I called Edson this morning, apparently the package was supposed to come with longer replacement studs. Mine did not, but I just grabbed some threaded rod that should do the trick.

Maybe I didn’t torque on them enough to get them free. I was trying not to mar the threads, but at this point, they’re not doing me any good so I might as well put some vice grips on em.

A longer bolt sure would be an easy fix, but the bolts don’t seem to come out of the hardware. If I could get them out, some threaded rod would solve the problem. Here’s a picture of the hardware...

Deck to thick for pedestal guard mounts?

We tried to install our new pedestal guard today, only to realize the bolts on the Edson mounting hardware are too short. The bolt barely makes it through the cockpit deck.

I can’t seem to find...
