I use OpenCPN with BBN Marine OS in a cockpit on touchscreen attached to raspberry pi4. This OS implemented solutions to make finger gestures work in OpenCPN.

Well OpenCPN can’t beat navionics app on a tablet for just short cruises. At least not in current state of development. However OpenCPN shines for offshore cruises with its plugins and opening ways...

Might be going into OpenCPN user interface settings and double each font size one by one will do it. Or by editing font sizes manually in opencpn.conf.

Or may be enable touch events in wxWidgets?
Is OpenCPN calling wxWindow::EnableTouchEvents() anywhere?

Is it possible to add multitouch gesture support on raspberry pi? Two finger zoom and long touch for right mouse click work in chromium on rpi but not in OpenCPN. Here is some information how it is...

Touch screen with no double click

Hello,
It seems opencpn becomes unusable
after I start ‘measure the distance’.
It keeps adding new points everywhere
on the screen where I touch.

How can I enter any text on a touchscreen when touch screen option is enabled in openCPN? There is no on screen keyboard
coming up when I touch a text input field.
