I did some electrical work on that boat. My first thought was that it was too perfect to use - a showpiece. Built by a master woodworker, even his shop was perfect.

Looks like a nice boat. Well kept, even covers on the teak cabin top handrails. Newer fresh water cooled Yanmar looks spotless.

Interesting boat. English couple got caught in covid and sailed it here non-stop from Tahiti. Laid it up and went back to England. Current owner has only had it for about a year.

It was a quote from a UK forum, YBW. I think they meant the west coast of Europe.

IMHO (and that of a great many owners of more traditional yachts who have sailed with me) the Seastream is very much at the sailing end of the motor sailing spectrum...

I agree about the radar - wrong place for it.

But there is nothing wrong with a Sole (Mitsubishi based) engine. I have one as well and everybody I know with them have nothing bad to say about them.

It's not the batteries but the charging that is the larger problem. For a day sailor back at the dock to plug in it can work well. Cruising away from shore power not so much.
