Its a fairly heavy boat.

Looking at the displacement and trying to figure what extras, ie living weight you can add and still be viable in the water. Balancing the fuel is a good idea.

I will be interested to hear your experience with the drive and engines when you use in seriousness. The idea of the leg is a good one and yet I seem to have heard only of the costs...

Yes, we all made that mistake. :facepalm: I usually just put a dab of the glue along the length, just enough to hold and no more! As it cools, it holds. I just made back splash units for a kitchen...

As stated before, I have used commercial hot glue guns and commercial glue sticks to hold surfaces in place whilst the main adhesive is curing. (NOT the household hot glue sticks.)
