Because of your wonderful guidance you convinced me get an ICOM M-802 and a Pactor II (upgraded to PIII) and a SGC230 tuner and I offset the cost by selling the 756 PRO to another ham. So far...

You seem to imply that metal boats don't have grounding issues. As someone
who will be buying an aluminum boat soon, what is the strategy to get a ground plane/ counterpoise when the rule is NEVER...
