That is very interesting.

The smaller radios that run off of batteries are interesting since we could use the radio in a power outage. The computer, not so much. But, the RTL-SDR looks so much...

What KP44 said. I don't have my license but I have looked at the requirements and it does not seem difficult. The big hurdle used to be the morse code requirement which is gone. Knowing the theory...
