I am probably one of 'em, can't get a wddm driver for my mobility radeon 9000 for >=windows 7. And no, Vista is not an option, reminds me of ME.

Bug: Heading of own ship sometimes wrong on skewed charts

On my system opencpn rotates the own ship using the NMEA HDG message. Since 917 it does this fine, except on a skewed chart.

I brought this up with 917, same problem in 925. Some current stations show no arrow, ever, just a orange square with a gray center.

I think the root cause is in the current data. Some data do not contain a directional component and opencpn shows them with an arrow (always in the same direction, not exactly North up? I don't know)...

Do you use vector charts? On NOAA raster charts there is a (small) difference between lightest (default) setting and the next lighting level. Screenshots somehwere in an old post...probably monster...
